Custom filter design

At Filtronetics, custom filter design isn’t an add-on, it’s at the core of what we do. We develop filters that are engineered specifically for your application.

From low-pass and band-pass to complex multi-stage designs, our filters are built to perform, with full control over materials, tolerances and electrical performance. Our in-house engineers work closely with your team to ensure functional, mechanical and environmental requirements are all met, without compromise.

Custom filter design process

Filtronetics, Inc. offers a wide variety of services in addition to the manufacturing of quality products, including full custom filter design. Our process is built around collaboration, precision, and in-house control.

Collaborative Engineering

We start by understanding your system requirements: frequency specs, power levels, impedance, environmental factors and mechanical constraints. Our team translates your needs into a filter concept, backed by decades of RF and EMC experience.

Simulation & Prototyping

Once specifications are defined, we simulate and model the filter using proven tools and techniques. We then move into prototyping, with rapid iterations when needed. Each unit is tested in-house to verify performance before production.

Production & Support

After validation, we move into production, ranging from single units to full production runs. Our team provides ongoing support, from qualification documentation to failure analysis and long-term supply.

More than just filters

Custom design at Filtronetics goes beyond filters. We also provide tailored solutions for oscillators, crystals, magnetic assemblies and integrated electro-mechanical systems. That includes form-fit-function replacements, legacy component redesigns and tight integration with your housing or PCB.

Our custom solutions are built for performance, reliability and long-term support, all designed, tested and manufactured in-house.

Extensive testing capabilities process

Filtronetics, Inc. offers a wide variety of services in addition to the manufacturing of quality products. Including full in-house testing and qualification support.

Engineering-level screening

All components undergo baseline inspection and electrical testing using calibrated in-house equipment. Ensuring every part meets the required specifications before moving forward.

Qualification to industry standards

We test and qualify products to military and industry standards. We simulate real-world conditions to ensure long-term reliability.

Customer-specific test plans

Need custom screening or reporting? We work with your team to define test protocols tailored to your application. Full traceability is always available.

Our build & test philosophy

Built for performance. Tested for certainty.
Every filter we produce goes through a rigorous design, build and verification process, handled entirely in-house. That means tighter control, shorter lead times and no surprises.
Whether you’re designing for defense, aerospace or industrial systems: performance is not optional. It’s built in.

Electrical and mechanical assemblies

Filtronetics offers end-to-end assembly services for both electrical and mechanical systems. We design and manufacture assemblies that meet your exact requirements: electrically, mechanically, and functionally.

Our team works closely with yours to ensure a smooth transition from concept to fully tested final product. All work is done in-house, giving you tighter control over timelines, quality and documentation.

Electrical and mechanical assemblies processes

Filtronetics, Inc. offers a wide variety of services in addition to the manufacturing of quality products, including complete asseblies. Fully built to your design.

Collaborative planning and design

We begin by reviewing your system requirements, schematics, mechanical drawings, and application goals. Our engineers provide design input when needed, helping you make the best choices for materials, layout and manufacturability.

Assembly and integration

Our technicians build your assemblies according to your exact requirements. We support both manual and automated processes, depending on the required volume and complexity.

Testing and quality assurance

Each assembly is inspected and tested according to your requirements. This may include continuity checks, insulation resistance, functional tests and visual inspection. We document every step to ensure full traceability and repeatability.

Built for reliability and to last

Filtronetics brings decades of experience in assembling complete systems, not just components. We understand the complexities of integration, from shielding and thermal control to space limitations and mechanical fit. Especially in critical environments like aerospace, defense and advanced industrial systems, every detail matters.

Our assemblies are built for reliability and designed with the full system in mind. We provide complete documentation, clear labeling, serial number tracking and tailored packaging, so your product moves smoothly from production to deployment.

Packaging

At Filtronetics, we understand that packaging is more than just the final step, it’s a critical part of ensuring long-term reliability and functionality. Components often operate in harsh environments or must withstand vibration, heat and automated assembly. Our custom packaging solutions are designed to protect sensitive electronics and maintain performance where it matters most.

We offer a range of packaging techniques tailored to your application, including hermetic sealing, environmental shielding, foam encapsulation and thermally conductive potting. Every solution is engineered to meet your mechanical, thermal and operational demands.

Packaging process

Filtronetics, Inc. offers a wide variety of services in addition to the manufacturing of quality products, including packaging: protecting performance beyond the curcuit.

Application review

We begin by analyzing your component’s operating environment: temperature extremes, moisture, vibration, mechanical stress or thermal load. This ensures the packaging approach aligns with both functional and physical requirements.

Material and method selection

Based on your needs, we select the most suitable method and materials. This may include metal or ceramic housings for hermetic sealing, silicone foam for shock absorption, or epoxy-based potting for thermal stability and protection.

Integration and testing

Packaging is applied and verified in-house. We ensure dimensional accuracy, structural integrity and compatibility with your assembly process, including automated handling, connector interfaces and mounting conditions.

Packaging that fits the bigger picture

Our experience goes beyond individual components. We design packaging that integrates seamlessly with your systems. Custom labels, serial tracking and documentation are available to support traceability and quality assurance.

No matter the challenge (heat, pressure, vibration or space constraints), we build packaging that protects what you’ve engineered.
